How should I care for my Hair leading to the Trial or Bridal Date?
On the day hair should be clean and blow-dried smooth/straight (it is best to do this the night before for best results). On your trial it would be good to wear something similar to our bridal outfit, so we can get the correct contrast for your final look.
If you require hair extension placement, please let us know in advance as part of your booking request.
Skin Routine before the Trial or Bridal Date.
Exfoliation removes dead skin cells, leaving your skin radiant and smooth. If you want soft, clean skin, exfoliating your face prior to the makeup trial will give you glowing skin.
A hydrating moisturiser should be applied after. Have your eyebrows waxed 2 days prior to your makeup trial. Find a Routine that works for you at least couple of weeks before the trial. I will advise you on products and provide further help if you need tips on great skin for the big day.
What should I bring to the trial?
Hair accessories : Especially important if you choose to wear a veil as your hair style. Pictures of your wedding gown, Your Pinterest board or any photos of your hair and makeup inspirations. A picture of your normal hair/makeup look Veil/ Headpiece. A clean, exfoliated and product-free face (please avoid doing makeup on this day). Your eyebrows should be shaped perfectly
how do i use the Bridal Touchup Kit?
Please request one of your bridesmaid to carry your Bridal Touch-Up Kit (which i will provide on the day) and ask them to tell you if your makeup looks less than pristine at anytime. If you have oily skin, or getting married on a warm day, blotting papers will come in handy. Just blot away the shiny spots and your makeup will be back at its best. (You will be provided with blotting paper as part of the touch up kit).
Do I need a trial?
Heera generally recommends all her brides to go with a trial. This allows her to understand things such as skin tone, hair styles, colours , and your overall requirements, to deliver perfection on the big day.
Trials are generally recommended a few months in advance. Trials are held Heera’s Studio on weekdays (MON-WED) and normally take 1hr 30mins.
