Makeup and hair trials costs are available in our services pages.

The trials are for brides who want to try out a few different looks and styles. It gives you the chance to experiment with a few options. This also gives Heera the freedom to create new styles if you are after something unique.

These consultations are held in the studio from Monday to Wednesday, allowing Heera to spend maximum time with her clients. Weekend trials are generally not available as Heera is booked out at these times. 

We will create the look you are after during the consultation for hair and makeup. This will take about 1hr 30mins to complete. During the creation of the look, we can discuss and work towards a look you are happy with. The session is informal and relaxed and undertaken in our bridal studio.

For all brides, a makeup trial and hair trial gives you the chance to experience your big day look and see how you feel with the makeup and hair for the day. You could choose to do this on a pre-bridal shoot or a small occasion. You can also give Heera feedback on any modifications you would like for the big day. This way, we are fully prepared for the big day. 

If you are very particular about the look you are going for on your big day, yes, definitely, please get a bridal trial completed at least a month before the big day.

Trials are recommended closer to the date of your big day so that you can wear the makeup in similar weather conditions and ensure your skin condition is similar to what it would be on your wedding day.

For the standard hair and makeup trial, one look of your choice will be tailored and perfected to your requirements.

For advanced bridal trials, we will create two to three looks. This is ideal for brides who have more than one event and are changing outfits. During the advanced trial, the looks for the various events will be tailored and perfected to match your outfits.

It depends on the service and style you are after. For bridal bookings, a minimum of 1hr 15mins is required, and SA bridal complete packages can take up to 2.5hrs. For mobile hair and makeup (non-bridal) services, the appointment takes 45mins to 1hr.

However, the times above are subject to our team size on the day. The time per person is further reduced if there are two artists (one doing hair and one doing makeup). 

We work through large bridal groups on this basis, allowing the bridal party to get ready faster and avoiding super early starts where possible or as instructed. Please let us know your preference, and we can tailor the package to fit your timing requirements. Generally, for groups of less than four to five people, Heera will manage this herself as she works at a different speed from other artists. If the groups are seven or more, we will aim to provide two artists as a minimum. 

This is totally up to you. Heera will tailor the look to ensure the makeup and hair match the outfit and the event. For evening events, the makeup is more glam and heavier, whereas the makeup can be tailored to be natural and soft for morning events.

However, this is totally up to the client, and we are happy to create the look you are after.
